Past Master's Jewel

A Past Master's Jewel is presented to the Immediate Past Master after he has served his year in Office. The Jewel is a token of the gratitude and respect of the Brethren of the Lodge.
Past Masters wear their Jewels with a great sense of pride. The design of Jewels may vary from Lodge to Lodge and it is not uncommon to see a group of Past Masters of different Lodges comparing their Jewels.

The Jewel pictured was presented to the late Worshipful Brother Derek Williamson. Derek served as Worshipful Master in 1988 and went on to hold the Office of Director of Ceremonies of the Lodge.

The photograph was taken by his son Bro Nigel Williamson.
